"We were really in a mess through no fault of our own....without Hampers of Hope we had no way of feeding ourselves this month"
"I was struggling and couldn't feed my family due to a very low income. I got in touch with Hampers of Hope and they helped me with food to feed the family for a few days they also gave me a leaflet for CAP (Christians against poverty) who are now sorting my debts out, it was such a relief. The foodbank makes such a difference to people like me who are on a low income'. I don't know what I would have done without the foodbank...such a big help"
"One evening in April this year two lovely people came to our house and offered help and a hamper. This help was given to us without prejudice. Just given, by the local community from two people who represented the greater Christian community. We were in a very difficult situation. The food helped us to get through the day, helped us to ensure my daughter was fed. More importantly we felt there was someone out there who cared. We became within one day of losing our house; the constant care, advice and positivity bestowed upon us, was and still is a productive influence upon us. Without that knock on the door in April 2012, would we be here, would we be still together as a family?"
"I just wanted to say thank you for your help today without people like you people like me would be lost so thank you again"
"Hampers of Hope is a fantastic service offered to the families within Macclesfield. They do a lot more good than anyone can imagine."
